Well, next year is college and I need to buy a laptop. Any suggestions as to what I should be looking for? I'd like to give you guys a budget, but without knowing how much books are going to cost and other expenses, it's hard to say. Basically, I don't want to spend too much, but I don't want to buy something crappy just to save a couple hundred bucks. I was thinking around $600-$700, but after seeing options and hearing different opinions, that can definitely change. For college I am taking the Computer Information Systems program.
So, what should I be looking for? I probably won't buy it soon, but I'd like to research the laptop I choose to buy. I'm going to definitely be buying it before the end of August though.
