Need Laptop recommendation

Hello 🙂,

I Need Laptop recommendation as a friend of mine is gonna buy a laptop under about $800 i.e. 50,000 /- Indian.
According to him the config should be Core i5, 8GB RAM, 2GB dGPU, 1 TB HDD, DOS/Linux/Windows.
I've searched the local shops and found some laptops with similar configs from Dell, hp, acer & lenovo. My friend is leaning towards Dell as it offers 2 years warranty but I'm not sure whether Dell is the right choice. So guys, please help me with finding the best laptop in this budget.

If you can, 5th-generation or newer (6th-gen chips are just starting to roll out, but those may be hard to find). More energy efficient and faster integrated graphics.

It's hard to tell exactly what you should get, since Indian prices aren't going to line up perfectly with what those of us other countries see. The HP Envy 15 might also do the job, but see what kind of warranty you can get.

Envy in India have huge price tags ! They are only for the Richie rich 🙁
The laptop which I saw in the local market is just below the Envy series from the price point of view, The laptop was of silver color & had diamond cut like texture on the back of the screen..
