Need keyboard help

Sluggo

Lifer
I came across a keyboard, and I was just wondering WTH it was from. It has no Windows keys, it says it was built by WYSE corp. and it has a funky connector, looks like a regular phone plug.

What is it?

It's a key for a Wyse terminal - keyboard/monitor connected to a mini/mainframe via a serial port on older models, IP on current ones.

Its feels like a great keyboard, I wonder if there is any kind of adaptor available to get it to work on USB or PS/2.

Never seen one. The Wyse keyboards use different signaling, scancodes and voltages than PC ones. Same thing with a DEC VT keyboard, etc.

Thanks a bunch for your help, after doing some searching I found that these bring quite a bit on eBay, they must have outrageous prices from WYSE.

Used ones bring 15-30 on eBay, as much as I hate to go there.
