Need Intel X25-M G2 hard drive. STAT

Hi Guys. Building a new rig and want to get a Intel X25-M Gen2 80GB SSD drive. Retail preferred or OEM. Trying to find a retail box copy for around $250 with free shipping and a decent return policy in case anything happens.

I have found a few retail copies on eBay that match my above requirements, except in terms of a return policy. Most do not allow returns. Anyone hear of any upcoming retails having specials on this drive??

should I wait until a day or two AFTER Christmas in case there are better deals?

I just picked an OEM up off of Amazon about a week ago for $250. It's not retail, and the price has sky rocketed since then, but eh.

Your best bet is to bookmark search result pages from Amazon, Newegg, Mwave, Tiger Direct, etc. and check daily. That's what I did, and I've snagged an X-25M G2 160GB and 80GB at decent prices so far.

Oh yeah, there ain't any.

I just sold my extra G2 Retail on E-Bay, no way in hell I'm giving returns on an SSD.
Deal with Intel if you brick it.
