Need.. input with one of my crunchers :)

It's a dual Celeron 533 (66FSB) on a BP6 with 128mb of Ram (not sure of speed but don't think it's 133). This machine runs Win XP pro and has been running SETI perfectly fine for about 2 months 🙂.

My first question is, would it make any difference at all if I was to put any more RAM in there? If so, how much difference and also would i be able to buy a PC133 module of ram and put it in there. I think I can as long as it isn't ECC/registered and it'll just run at the lower speed. Just wanted to know...

Thx in advance.

Edit: sorry, i meant to say the speed of the Seti client and it's times. I know adding more ram helps the OS, especially XP, with 512Mb being it's 'sweet' spot. 🙂

I have a Cel 633, not sure of the bus, 66 or 100 but i put in pc133 and it runs fine. you might get some kind of mem error message on boot
