.... the Intel D865PERL motherboard. Good Bad Indifferent? Not into overclocking, just stable lightening! What memory would you chose for most efficient operation?

Intel makes stable motherboards with little or no overclocking features. With that said, you don't need to waste your money on super fast memory because you won't be overclocking. PC3200 will be fine and if you buy a matched pair kit from Corsair or Kingston or the likes, you should have a pretty easy time getting it to run in dual channel mode.

I am also loooking for a board that does not have on board audio. Any suggestions?
