Need input on these gpu's please!

Ok, just looking for an emergency backup card. prices listed are after rebate and google through buy.com. They have either 6200 $4, 7300le $10, or 8400gs $25. I am thinking either the 7300le or 8400gs. which would be the better deal? I cant find any comparisons between the 8400gs and the gforce 7 series. I think the 8400gs is close to a 7300gt.

any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

What do you mean by "emergency backup". If it is only to have a working display interface, without gaming, then the 6200 at $4 :shocked: is unbeatable.

If you want to have a little bit of gaming power, both the 7300LE and 8400GS are weak, but can provide a passable experience at 800x600 or 1024x768.

I have 6150 integrated graphics, even weaker than 6200, and can play Tomb Raider Legend at 800x600 with high quality settings.

what I mean by emergency is: sometimes I buy and sell spur of the moment, which leaves me with no gpu sometimes; so I would need a card to hold me off till I get a new one.

also I may need one for troubleshooting or what not.

last thing is: as of right now the only games that get played on the puter are tomb raider, nascar 200?, moto grandprix, and other misc games like tetris, yahtzee, etc. so they dont require a lot. may be getting some other games in the near future.

I think I would get the 7300LE. Just because it is a little more recent GPU, and it's only 10 bucks AR/AGC.
