Need input on MB w/8x agp

Heres the deal. I'm building a new system for a friend. I need recommendations on a motherboard that meets the following requirements

AMD(333) or Intel(533)
2 or 3 slots
8Xagp (for 9700)
Onboard Audio
Onboard Lan

I've research and read so much but I don't know if I should go with a SIS chipset or what.

Any info is greatly apperiated thanks!

I recommend the gigabyte 8sg667 version 2.0 (with voltage adjustments) for about $95 (newegg.com). If you don't plan on overclocking, they have version 1.0 refurbished for $69 last time I checked. With version 2, you can get the 1.8a and run it at 2400-2500 in most cases. This board may not have built in lan, but you can get one pretty cheap. The 845pe boards are also good for overclocking, but don't have agp 8x support. The 9500 pro ati cards are shipping now, and should be in any day now. Lynn computer products had some coming in for $199.

if you want to go with amd, then get a nforce 2 based motherboard.it has great sound and it has onboard lan.
it supports 8x agp.read evan lieb's upcoming roundup on nforce2 mobos.
if you go the intel route,then get a sis 655. they are not available yet, but it uses dual channel ddr 333.
