Need information regarding ATI Tv WONDER vE card

just put this in my computer have following issues:
has anything experienced audio problems
my problem is that say i'm watching a channel, i would ALWAS hear this static type of sound from the channel that i'm watching. this annoying sound like "screeching noise' is louder than the audio of tv program.
the card is on line out and i have SB live 5.1
DDt 2500 (probalby typo)
i tried lowering audio in control panel and turn it up via speakers it sort of helped but not enough.
any one experience simliar prob?

also why does each channel has its own volume level?
how do i get rid of that, so all channels has the EXACT SAME VOLUME

i think you're talking about the volume returning to the middle whenever you change the channel. I believe this is a known problem that hasn't been fixed. I had lots of problems with the tv wonder ve. I also had this problem where it wouldn't detect a cable signal and would only let you watch composite... which is basically a blank screen unless you plug in a vcr or something. Cable would only be detected *sometimes* if you rebooted...
annoying. This is also a known issue that hasn't been fixed.

I returned it and got a tv wonder USB. a MUCH better product. The software is better (its got this cool tv guide feature), the hardware is more stable. The only downside is that the video and audio quality is not as good. I can deal with it though as long as the damn thing works.
