Need information on how to adjust the freeplay on my S10

I purchased a 1994 Chevy S10 with the 2.2L engine, and 5 speed tranny last week. There is virtually no freeplay when I push the clutch pedal, and when I checked an online manual, it said the clutch can't be adjusted (which isn't helpful). The only thing it suggested was bleeding the master/slave cylinders, but there is no problem shifting, just no freeplay (makes hill starts fun). If anyone has any ideas, or can point me to a helpful guide or photos, please help.

The reason it can't be adjusted is that it's hydraulic. There is no adjustment. You need a new clutch.

I realize that I can't adjust the clutch itself. But I've seen some guides online to adjust the clutch pedal. Is there no way I can change where the stroke begins (disengages clutch), while leaving freeplay at the top?

Have you tried bleeding the master/slave cylinders to see if that helps your problem?

Check down where the linkage comes out of the slave cylinder and see if there is some adjustment where it attaches to the throwout rod....

Hey. I spoke to a mechanic while I had the tires done this morning, and I knew it was slipping a bit, but I thought that might be due to the lack of freeplay. They said it's probably a clutch, and to shop around to get that done. So that's what I'm gonna do. Thanks for the hints.
