Need info on using cdr's with xbox.

Fitrst of all, yes I did search but only found one thread pertaining to this (unless I missed others)
Has anyone successfully been able to play cdr's in their xbox?
I tried burning on PNY with my yamaha 4416 w/cdrwin 3.8f, I think. Doesn't work.
Here's a copy/paste from the thread I found but I was curious if anyone else got any alternative configurations to work.



<< Burned on a CD-RW
- Used Nero v5.5.5.1
- No CD Text
- No Finalize CD
- 8x Write Speed
- Track At Once

Burned it on a Plextor 16/10/40A on a Verbatim 10X CD-RW.

Try using CD-RWs as its a DVD player and most DVD players play CD-RWs better then CD-Rs...

Oh, you really don't want to know. I'll probably get bashed for it but it was just a cdr of natalie merchants new cd. I do own the original so it is legit but I have recently started to immediately make copies of new cd's so I can just let the orignal sit in it's case and remain scratch free.

I was just trying to use it as a cdplayer. I have heard you can copy a cd to the hd for use during games. How would I do this?

Supposedly the XBox only reads music off the original CD somehow...don't think anyone has hacked around it yet.
