A friend gave me this motherboard that he pulled out of his old NEC computer he bought from circuit city.
There is a big "DR724" on the side by the floppy/ide connectors
I looked that up and got some information on a packard bell bios update.
Other identifying numbers:
bar code in lower left corner: 9JQ02200024 Ver A01-B
It's got onboard video/audio. SIS 5595 chip above the barcode mentioned above and a heatsink by the cpu that reads SIS 620
It has 3 PCI slots and a 4th PCI / shared ISA slot. 2 slots for SDRAM (PC66 or PC100 as noted on mobo)
Has another bar code by the CPU that says 151-00025-000
In the lower right corner it has a barcode that reads 2H0C9X
It also has 2 usb ports.
Is any of this info useful?
Anyways I needed to buy a cpu for it and I needed to know the max it could handle as well as the max memory it can take. It says PGA370 on the cpu and he had a celeron 433 in it before (multiplier is set to 6.5 and bus is set to 66mhz)
So do you guys need me to bust out the digicam and take a pic or is that enough information?
Thanks
Duritz
