I'm looking for a nice portable keyboard, full size, that's MIDI compatible (so I can save my music or transfer them to PC), and possibly has a disk drive in it.

I was looking at the Casio CTK-551/651 at first then Casio WK-1630, now looking at Yamaha PSR340/350.

They all have different features. Can anyone give me good advice? Or which brands are good? Looking to spend $150-$300 at the most. TIA.

I don't know about current models but the older Casios used to run their own MIDI protocol that some software did not recognize. I would check that out first. Just my .02

Roland made one a while ago with General MIDI for around $300. I tried it out and it sounded much better than my Yamaha PSR225. If they don't make them anymore, you might be able to find a used one for cheap.
