need info on home foreclosure

Are you worried about your own house, or hoping that someone else's house is going to go on the market...
If in the latter case, there are several steps the homeowner can take to stop the process. Quite often, such things are listed in the legal notices in newspapers. Additionally it becomes a matter of public record available from your county (or whoever takes care of such paperwork.) My neighbors do title searches, etc., as a business... they keep me informed of the latest gossip as it happens.

Usually you can check the county clerk of courts website. Foreclosures, along with a lot of other info/dirt, are usually searchable online by last name but the detail depth of available info may depend on county/state regulations.

A foreclosure is deemed public info and must be available via the clerk of courts.

I was a title examiner and this is how we verified/discovered wether or not a home was in the foreclosure path.

FWIW I don't think any MLS site is going to give info on homes in the foreclosure process for free.

edit: if you only have an address you can match the address to a name via the county auditor's or treasurer's website.
