Need info on dodge ram

I have a 2000 dodge ram 1500. I recently replaced the crankshaft sensor but it still cuts off and won't crank sometimes.the truck ran fine for a few days after I replaced it and now its doing it again. Does anyone have any info on what it might be???.
 
What does "still cuts off and won't crank sometimes" mean? Does the engine stop when already running? When it "won't crank," is the engine turning over but not firing?

Are you getting a check engine light, and if so, what code(s) do you have?
