So... I'm looking for a GS500 and I live in Toronto and they are hard to find and people ask for too much money. I have seen a lot online in the states that are selling for what seem like very reasonable prices.
What if i went down south, bought a bike, drove it up north... to Canada.
What legal things do I have to do to be able to do this. Would I have to pay duties or taxes or anything? Anyone know?

You'll have to pay the duties and taxes at the border and they want it then and there, no cheques.

Slip the guard a six pack of Molson and comment on how shiny Canada's tank is looking. He'll let you through.

If only it were that easy...
that sucks, anyone know the rates? Percentwise?
Whatever happened to free trade?!?
