hey everybody, well i didnt knwo where exactly to post this and i figure since the most people are always in here that i will get a fast response for my problem. and i figure that if it should be somewhere else a mod will move it

ok the problem is that i was oc'ing my processor and i went to high i guess and my computer wouldnt reboot after i fiddled with the bios. so i reset the jumper so that the board would go to a default bios, but now it wont boot, or when it does boot the processor shows up as a 1500+ but it is actualyl a 2200+ and then it checks the ram. but after it tells me how much ram i ahfe it just sits there.. adn nothing works, i cant enter the bois or anything... any ideas? anybody?

thanx

Reset CMOS by using the jumper on the motherboard. Test each ram stick.

You will also probably have to change a setting in the BIOS from 100 FSB to 133 FSB. (Words to the effect)

I'd also take out the battery of the motherboard and leave it out for 10 minutes then stick it back in.

Did anything help?
If you can't get into the BIOS at all, do this:
Unplug machine, set CMOS jumper to clear and pull CMOS battery. Wait 10 minutes and then set it all back.
If it still wont POST check: CPU, Video Card and RAM.
If you can POST but it shows 1500 instead of 2200, your multiplier setting is incorrect in the BIOS.
