Need ideas for this weekend to surprise my gf...

Background info:
Gf and I and long distance, New York and Maryland. We do okay most of the time, but once in a while the phone brings out the worst in me and I start an argument. Well I did it again last Thursday and we almost broke up. Luckly, this amazing girl is still with me after all the sh!t I put her through. And I want to marry this girl someday. So, this weekend, she agreed to come to Maryland to see me because we both think we need this to help patch things up. We were supposed to wait until V-day to see each other, but she's coming home this weekend.

Anyways, Im still shaky about the whole thing and because I almost lost this amazing girl. I want to do something very special for her this weekend, something that would really take her away.

Any suggestions please...?

Again, sorry for posting this in ATOT. YAGT doesnt cut it.

do you have budget? if not, then it would be pretty cool if she came to where you live, but then you left and took her somewhere else around in a hotel. i dont know whats around maryland. take her to a near by city and do something in the city? you need something sentimental here, not of monatery value. is there something in your past that has signifigance? can you maybe reinact your first date? where you had your first kiss? think along those lines

umm...hope you get this resolved? I dunno. how about..BUMP for a fellow MD resident. Seriously though, go get her some flowers, apologize, have a nice dinner, hit up a flick, come home and hang out.
