How far are you willing to drive? What kinds of activities does your gf like? Niagara Falls has already been mentioned but you could also check out Yellowstone or the Grand Canyon or some places like that if it's not further than you'd be willing to drive. You might also consider Vegas if she likes that kind of thing. Sorry I can't be of more help but I don't travel much.

I've always thought that Niagara Falls was a bit over-rated...

Personally, since I like the outdoors, I'd see if she wanted to go camping somewhere... perhaps someplace next to a lake or other body of water. Nice and peaceful if you can get off the beaten path, spend quality time only with her, and find out how she copes without make-up for 2 or 3 days.
