Need ideas for photography assignment

I have to do a roll on hyperfocal distance. We need to create the illusion of two objects being on the same level.

An example would be like a hand held out flat "below" a car so it looks like the hand is holding the car. Another example would be to have a shovel look like it's digging a person.

Also, mt teacher said at F22, everything from 6ft to infinity will be in focus. At F16, everything from 8ft to infinity. I have an aperature of F38, what kind of range will that get me?

Not sure if that was really an idea or what, but that's a good idea to me. I could have a hammer over someone's head who is far away to make it seem like the hammer is gigantic and is crushing the head!
