Need ideas about window placement

I've got a Antec SX 635 and I want to put a window in it, but there's a latch right where the window would go. Here's the exploded drawing. "2" is the side panel and "3" is the latch thing. There's no room for a window, unless I cut out the latch. Just wondering if there were any other options.

Put a window on the top panel and glow wire on the grill below the drive bays. It looks really cool that way.
