just got a plasma TV
it has dvi and vga connectors on it
so i figure now is as good a time as any to make an htpc
i figure it should play dvds, h.264 video, etc.
it should be small, fitting either in the stereo stack or behind the tv
most of all it nees to be quiet
i have a socket 754 sempron 2800+ i could use (doesn't support cnq though), and a gig of DDR ram
i've also got several athlon xps and motherboards (including an overclocked barton that is darn silent with an arctic cooling fan on it)
if it can game that would be a plus (then it could double as a lan box)
