need high-powered psu

im looking for a psu thats 700w+ that must have at least 8 sata connectors and long enough cables to reach everything from the bottom of a lian-li pc-a71a. modular isn't necessary, price shouldnt be an issue either...

If this matters....all the PC Power & Cooling 750 Silencer series NOW have a 5yr warranty...it use to be 3yrs aned the 1k has a 7 yr warranty!!

With a few rare exceptions, yes. Standard sort of quad core CPU, one or two fast GPUs, 4GB memory, hard drives, etc, yes: a good quality 700W PSU will be plenty.
