Need high CFM 120mm fan reccomendations for amp rack

I am building an amp rack in my car and I will need atleast two high CFM fans to cool my amps.

I would like your recommendations for high quality durable fans capable of high CFM output.

Thankyou

120x25 or 120x38.? What's your minimum and max cfm that your looking for.?
Do you want thermal control.? Are they to be intake or exhaust.?

Im not sure what maximum I would need (I would only be guessing) and Im not sure how I will configure the setup yet (push/pull...pull/pull...push/push)
After I get the fans I plan to do some testing and see what works best.

I would say min. CFM should be somewhere around 50 or maybe closer to 75...and again I am just guessing, but I think I would rather have too much rather than too little.

I plan to place a resistor in series to being an alternator is capable of 16V transients so the fan will most likely run a little slower than stated specs.

Lets say it needs to be >75 CFM @12VDC
Noise shouldn't be too much of a concern within reason.

I dont need thermally controlled

I missed a few questions:

I was under the impression thicker = better so I assume I would want 120 x 38??

Yreka, that fan is craZy expensive. I would think I could do the same thing with 4 cheaper fans, and it might end up with less noise...though Im not sure because I have never delt with fans or Db ratings before.

I admit though I am a sucker for cool toys and that fan is pretty cool!

Check out the hydrowave bearing panasonic fans at Digikey- terrific selection. You'll want to wire the fan(s) on the filtered side of the audio system power, or provide them with their own power filter- electronic fans really don't like the transients found in automotive electrical systems...

After doing some searching it looks like a lot of poeple feel Delta and Sanyo Denki are two of the best fans.

Where could I pick up a Sanyo Denski?
Would you rate Delta any better or worse than the SD?

Some folks have had the excellent Sanyo Denki fans listed in the FS/T section here for a while. Considering that used ones often go for twice what they are asking for new ones (not including shipping), they are a great deal. Here is one of them: SD 120x38mm fans I can vouch for them as I use one in my system and I bought a carton of them and sold all but the few I reserved for myself with no complaints.
