My Proccessor is running at 100% all the time.. Even when my Comp isnt doing anything! I dont know if its something to do with my operating system or not (Win 2k pro). If anyone can help me out to tell me whats going on i would really appreciate it. Thanks!

What do you mean by "My processor is running at 100%" Are you talking about the performance because if you are then you have the ideal computer.

No, I mean that the usage of the cpu is at 100% all the time.. even when im not doing anything.. Making it to wear opening up a simple image of 52kb takes 5 mins... sry for not clarifying!
 
Go into msconfig and check what all you have starting up.

Ideally you should just have Explorer and Systray and maybe a firewall and a virus scanner. Anything more means your pc is eating up valuable RAM.

Also sometimes a virus could be a culprit, get the latest sig files and do a scan.

What is your current system configuration (CPU, mobo, etc) ...

Also, does the machine feel slow (or slower than when it's not 100%) or does it feel the same?
