Hey, I know this is easy stuff for you guys, but here goes. Anytime I hold and release any 2 buttons on my mouse it remains clicked, i have to click couple times for it to release. This happenings in every program, and within windows.

Usually, this wouldn't be a problem. But I use maya for a living, and I have to hold down 2 mouse buttons to use certain functions.

I've tried, uninstalling, reinstalling the mouse drivers. Look in the mouse controls. buying a new mouse but nothing seems to work.

The problem start when i got my new system.

Xp (with all the mircosoft updates)
2100xp
512mb3100
Geforce4 4400
Mircosoft intellimouse

Thanks for any help

Its possible that your mouse drivers are programmed to perform certain functions when two mouse button are pressed. For instance, on my Logitech trackball, when I press both buttons, it causes the trackball to act like a scroll wheel and I have to click to turn it off.

In your control panel check your mouse properties. Listed under the activities tab there is a setting called ClickLock that does what you are describing. If the box is checked then that is your problem.
