I recently assembled a new computer using - Intel 815EPEA2 motherboard,
PIII 800EB processor, 256 MB SDRAM(PC133), IBM Deskstar HDD.
Intel use onboard sound with Soundmax3 on this board which is very good.
But I have a problem. Using the driver that came with the Motherboard,
MP3 files wouldn't play.
So I downloaded the latest driver for Soundmax3 from Intel download site.
Finally, I can play all types of audio files but in the "Master Volume
Mixer" that comes with Windows - the VOLUME button remains dead..
I shall be happy to receive guidance how to make the Master Volume
Button active.
