I just put this system together:

p3 800
Tyan trinity 400 mobo
128 MB pc100 sdrram (generic)
1 Fujitsu (3 GB)
1 Quantum Fireball (12 GB)
TNT2 Ultra (32 MB)
SB Live! Value
1 33.6 ISA modem
300 watt power supply

My problem is with the 12 GB fireball drive. I know it's not bad because I used it with my old system and it's not even a year old. What happens is you can see it and delete stuff from it but you can't write to it or run anything that is installed on it. Can't figure out why. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Check your bios... I think that M/B has settings for W/R restrictions in the BIOS. Was the drive ever on a network or do you sharing enabled on the drive... you might have setup restrictions in the system by accident. If you have tried all of that... have you tried Fdisk-ing the drive?

Oh what O/S?

The drive that I am having problems with is not the drive with windows on it. It has mostly games and mp3's. If you try and install a new game on it you get a blue screen that says error writing to drive D (which it is) and if you try and run anything already installed on that drive you just get a message saying that the program performed an illegal operation.
