Hello Everyone!

So I am planning to upgrade my videocard which is Zotac 9400gt. Now I would like to purchase a Radeon R7 260x (ASUS OC edition). Would my PSU watts and amps hold up this gpu?

PSU Specs:

+5v-22A
130W MAX
+3.3v-24A

+12vV1-17A
312W
+12vV2-15A

-12V-0.3A (3.6W)

+5Vsb-2.5A (12.5W)

Max:400w
Peak:450w

This PSU Came with my ASUS case and the PSU itself has ASUS Sticker on it.

Other PC Specs:

Pentium Dual-Core E5300 2.6Ghz (OC to 3.61Ghz) (Planning to upgrade in the future so the bottleneck with GPU isn't a problem)
MSI G41m-SP20 mobo
WD 320GB HDD

I need SLI/Crossfire available to hook up 2 of them in the future.

Any other GPU recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Yep, 17 Amps is more than enough for a 260X, you're likely going to be using less than half of that. So you will be fine regardless of whether you run it on the 17A or the 15A rail, although I would certainly recommend running it off of the rail which has more amps just in case you have something else drawing power from the same rail.

nwo thank you so much (I have 1 6pin connector coming out of my PSU-I don't know much about those rails:)) ! I'm so happy I can run it without any hardware replacement :)!

According to the attached image of the PSU sticker you posted earlier, the PSU rails are color coded. So the 17A 12v rail should be yellow and the 15A 12v rail should be brown.
