Need Help !

Hi Folks,

Wonder if this is the correct place to post this;

Can anyone help me solve this problem:



Notice the small square boxes on the left hand side under 4-Way Optimization,
they were actually English words there.

How do I change it back to English words instead of squares.

TIA

BTW on the other page of this program, some of the words are mixed with Chinese characters.

Any idea.

That change would be a function of the app you are using. Does it not have display options?

(It's amazing that in this day and age, a major OEM like Asus still hasn't learned about Unicode.)

It would help if you identified the program in question. The graphic doesn't show it.

The branding ("Fan Xpert") seems to suggest an Asus motherboard utility. If all else fails, you could try to find and delete the registry keys used by this program. Also, you haven't messed with your OS's language settings, have you? Changing the default non-Unicode code page (which is different from changing the display language) could also have an effect like this (though in that case, you'll probably notice problems in other non-Unicode programs).

Problem solved, went to the PC shop and asked the tech guy there why there are small squares in the Al Suite 3 program and he told me to change the Language in Control Panel to display all non-Unicode support language to English. Tada!

Hope that anyone with this problem can share this info.
