I have an ECS P965T-A board with a E6400 Processor. The board has a 8pin connector, but my new PSU, Ultra V-Series 500 W has a 4 pin connector..

Are they interchangeable? I heard that If I bought an adapter, it would not work.. 🙁

ive heard people just using 1 4-pin connector and it working fine. i would get 2 though if you plan on overclocking
