I'm trying to set up a box at home (connected over cable) to use as a proxy server (preferably with SSL). Basically, I want the client (at the office, inside the corporate proxy/firewall) just to have internet explorer with no additional installed client software and create a connection to the proxy server at home, and from there connect to other sites.
I can't use one of the existing proxies out on the web, as they are all blocked/filtered.
No, I don't want to do anything bad, I'd just like to be able to browse sites like AT by going through a proxy at home.
The machines I have at home are windows boxes and I'm a complete dolt when it comes to linux etc, so the linux/unix solutions are out.
Any step by step guides out there, or any info you can share?
