Since different platforms (XP, Intel or AMD 64bit) respond differently to the "quality" of ram, you'll get better answers if you provide specs for your rig.

Also, whether you OC or not would influence the decision I beleive.

You say "High Graphics", if that's about gaming gfx, well my tests haven't shown much impact on those gfx from ram. Its all about the GPU.

I would say that you need an all around good CPU for games since if your CPU is lacking, then your GPU won't be getting enough information to keep running at it's full potential.

I think the importance of a fast CPU in gaming is too often overstated here. I have used my 6800GT with my cpu set at 2500+ speeds (with very loose ram timings and a FSB of 166) and compared it to gaming at 3200+ speeds (with tight timings and a FSB of 200). I don't see a difference in FPS etc. Yeah, there's a bit of a diff in benchmarks, but not real world gaming that I can tell.
