I am attempting an upgrade from my Philips Acoustic Edge to an Audigy Platinum. I first removed the drivers for the Philips and shut down (of course!). Uninstalled the Philips and installed the Audigy. Went to boot back up and XP won't boot in normal or safe mode. In safe mode, it gets to the AMDAGP driver and hangs. I have a dual-boot with linux on this machine (which I am using right now) where it starts just fine (although the sound card is not configured on the linux OS). I tried switching PCI slots from 5 to 6 and it still hangs. Any ideas how to fix this? I'm sure it is some sort of conflict. Thanks.

Audigy Platinum (obviously!)
