Need Help with z77V-Pro dram-led light red

1st boot on new build.

When I turn on the power on the dram led light comes/stays on.

I press the button to test/configure and the system powers on, the dram light blinks slowly. The cpu led light flashes once, then the dram led flashes faster. CPU led again, with dram faster still, then the dram led stays on.

I do not get to bios.

Motherboard: asus p8z77 V-Pro
RAM: corsair vengence lp 4 x 4
CPU: i5 3570K

What I've tried: reseating the memory, flashing the bios.

Any thoughts/help?

Thanks

To elaborate on Magic's comment, try each stick in isolation to see if it will POST. If one won't get you to BIOS, it's a bad stick. Also, turn off any TPU and EPU switches. TPU especially will screw with the boot sequence.

I tried a different one in A2 and removed the other three.

The DRAM light went out (thanks), but now the boot device led light is lit.

Progress?

I reworked where the fan was plugged in, and got it to post. Only with 1 block of ram, but not with 4. I'm playing with them now to see if there is not enough voltage coming through or if one of the sticks is bad.

Thank you much.

Glad, you make steady progress there

Most likely, one of the sticks is playing up. Official memory support for your board.
