need help with xp

1. wanting to play 10 mp3s at the same time, i highlighted them and right-click, left-click on play in winamp.
a windows popped up warning me that it may take awhile to open them. okay... i've done this before on 98,2k..so i click ok and never ask me again.
well, my HexWorkshop opened up and loaded all the mp3s (which did take a long time to open up)... wtf!?!?
2. my "beware of dog" stopped working

good thing i tested xp on my company laptop instead of my own pc.

i guess the quick fix would be to reinstall winamp and hexworkshop and find an xp version of 'beware of dog"
