Hey i have a asus pk5 e wifi mobo with 3 sata drives. I want to dual boot between vista and xp. I can get vista to install but i cant get xp to install. The ifrts problem i had was getting my hard drive partitioned. I finally got that worked out but when i choose the drive i want to install it installs the files but when it goes to reboot to finish the install i get a cant load os. I went into the bios and set the drive i want to install as the first boot drive but i still get that error

It's probably a setting in your BIOS for your SATA drives. They need to be set to "legacy" or "IDE" mode, in order for XP to install and see them. If they are set to "RAID", "AHCI", or "Native", then you need to press F6 when installing XP and load drivers specific for your mobo chipset's SATA controllers.

Vista is largely unaffected by those drive settings.
