I cold booted one of my XP-Pro machines and found the Blue Screen of Death filling the screen (1st time ever). I then booted to the XP installation CD. After hitting the key for 'automated system restore' a message directed me to insert the floppy disk: Windows Automated System Recovery Disk.

Anyone know where and how I can get this?

Thanks.

No idea what this Automated System Recovery Disk is....
I'd suggest going for a fresh install... if you need to back up your data on the OS drive, boot with an OS on another hard disk, or if you don't have another hard disk, try installing Windows a fresh copy on another partition on the same drive and then recover your data from the old OS drive.

You would have had to make a recovery disk previously. You can try a repair installation, boot to the xp disc, choose enter to install (not r), then it will find your windows install and you can attempt a repair.
