Hello there, I just bought a LG 45'' HDTV. And I'm really happy with it.
But I have some problem connecting my Sapphire X800XT on it.

Here's my TV model: RU-45NZ60. It has a DVI Input. and two S-Video input. More specs can be found HERE

My Sapphire does have a DVI Plug on it: X800XT Pic

So I bought a 6' DVI Cable from FutureShop (150$ CND) And plugged it in my TV & Video Card... But It doesn't work!! My TV Stay black.

So yesterday I bought a S-Video Cable and plugged it in my TV... But the damn Cable won't plug in my VideoCard...

Can someone help me out please??? What kind of goddamn cable do I need to play game on my 45''?

Thanks

my sony has same dvi input.. but note's that its' not "designed" for computers'. Maybe yours is the same. Also, did you check the video card's output to ensure you were sending a dvi signal? also, on the tv, did you select dvi input?. . . Svideo should work for any tv.. provided you have the correct cable.

My TV screen is still black with the "No Signal" error in blue.

I selected the right outout for my TV.. I tried them all. I'm out of luck

For one thing i hope like hell you didnt really pay 150 CND for a DVI cable. If you did you really should check out this one at new egg for $15 USD

As far as the "S-Video" output on your card. Thats not an s-video connector. ITs a custom connection that you plug an adapter into. you should have gotten a bunch of adapter cables with that card. One of those adapter cables will have svideo. But use Component signal for HD if you cant get the dvi working

Sample of adapter cables:

As far as the DVI not working. My GUESS is that it is not enabled. Go to your display properties and make sure that its enabled and that XP 'sees' 2 connections. IF you have an lcd with DVI input, use it to test the connection.
