need help with win XP..can't connect to mail server

I have a small network in my office runninf win2k Server w/ exchange2000 server to handle internal email.

One user has had timeout errors from outlook recently, only this one user...
this weekend and today I have been trying to get it to work.
if I dd this user to another copmuter I can connect to his exchange info just fine.

I deleted his account off his computer then recreated it. but now I get an error message that the password or domain is incorrect when setting up outlook again.

right now I am creating a new account for him under a different name in hopes that this might work.

Maybe the user's profile is messed up? Try creating another user and adding the account onto that profile and seeing if it works. Hope this helps.
