Need help with VirtualDub, not getting sound...

Ok, I use Virtual Dub with a Hauppauge TV Capture card, with sound running through the capture card to a SB Live. When I use the capture software included with the card (WinTV) I get video + audio. When I use any other program (VirtualDub, Ulead Media Studio, etc) I get video but no audio. I have nop idea what the problem is, so any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Find the WinTV folder in the Program Files folder -- look for a icon that looks like a speaker and double click on it. You'll have to use this utility to switch the sound on...
