i'm new at trying to use my TV as a monitor for my computer, so here's my question. i have a very basic PCI video card with s-video out and i want to use it to connect to my 35" RCA TV to watch the visuals from sonique (basically, i'm not looking for stellar resolution for DVD's or anything like that)
i've tried just connecting the s-video out from the card into the s-video in on the back of the TV, but my set says that its an 'unusable signal' is there something special i need to do on the computer setup to get it to display on the TV? (settings, resolution, etc.?)
