HOpe somebody can help me wade through the mire of new tech:

I have an Asus P4PE, max 4x AGP, and two 19" LCD monitors. My video card (Matrox millennium g550) won't drive a simulator program so I need to upgrade, but I'm having trouble finding a 4X AGP card with nvidia chipset above 5600 that will fill the bill. I don't want to upgrade my motherboard at this time, too big a headache.

Any recommendations?

thanks much!

8x AGP cards should work fine, and won't lose any speed in a 4x slot.

Is it just the dual-DVI feature you're having trouble finding? I know many cards are 1-DVI, 1-D-sub.

and is a great value.

thanks guys, much appreciated.

I'm still confused: do I need two actual dvi-i ports?...I have a two-into-one plug for my monitors, so that both plug into the single dvi-i port on my Matrox g550...but will any nvidia card software-support two monitors through one port? or is it certain models only and must it say so in the features description? some blurbs say "multi-display" but not all of them.

Matrox has the dual-head software but I haven't seen clear descriptions in geforce video card sales blurbs that say whether it's a dvi-i port, and whether it will support two monitors through one port.

Also, is dvi-i the standard now or do I have to make sure? Most just say "dvi" connector now, and mine is definitely dvi-i.

thanks for your help
