Need help with USB HD/Ghost

I'm trying to use Ghost 2003 to Ghost an image to a USB HD. The HD is actually a USB 2.0 enclosure with a 80Gig Samsung HD. Now it works just fine on a computer with USB2 inputs, but when I try it on a computer with a USB 1.1 inputs, Ghost can SEE the drive but not write to it! I've tried using both the Ghost's USB 1.1 and 2.0 drivers and I've tried using both PC DOS and MS DOS. Anyone have suggestions????
