Need help with upgrade

I currently have a P3 450 256MB Ram and a TNT2 32MB vid card. I am planning on getting a slot 1 100fsb 1Ghz(yes there out there) or a Geforce GTS 64,Pro, or Ultra. Which should I upgrade first the video card or processor? I was told the GF3 wouldn't drop the GF 2 prices too much.

Really depends on what you wanted to do. 3D gaming should consider the GF2 first. But you would still be somewhat limited by your CPU.

yeah I am lookin to keep my system updated for Tribes 2, both upgrades are roughly the same price.

There's a few approach to this: If you want to upgrade both but only want to spend money on either the processor or the video card now, I'd get the video card now, and save money for Tbird Athlon and DDR MB/RAM combo. since a new video card will last you couple years with no prob.

on the otherhand, if this is the ONLY upgrade you are intended to do, I'd get a faster CPU, since this will benefit you from all applications, not just games if you get the video card.
