Need help with UPC code

Probably a dumb question but I bought a Sony Viao laptop from Sears for $696 but it had no box. The model # is PCG-FXA63. Do all laptops with this model # have the same upc? Sony says I need the upc to get the rebate.

Supposedly all of the same models should have the same UPC. However, i have seen cases where several UPC carry the same model (but no two models will have the same UPC)

Sony Playstation 2 is one of those cases : the first version : 27242 97001, second version 27242 97004. Those two are exactly the same.

HOw much was the rebate.

I would go back to sears and see if they will give the rebate.
