Need help with unlocking an XP 1800+ Locally in L.A

Just wondering if someone in the L.A area that can help me unlock an XP 1800+.. i just dont want to screw this cpu myself.

What kind of AXP is it? Pally? T-bred a? T-bred rev b? What motherboard? I would go ahead and try it, there are so many how-to's out there, read a few, and see what they had for problems with it. Depending on your board, I would check out the wire tricks, there is spose to be a way to unlock them and mod the proc using a piece of wire....google it...cuz I wont...
