Need help with TV Tuner

First System specs

Soyo K7V Dragon Plus
Athlon XP 1800
Geforce 3 ti200 (last official drivers and the newest beta drivers)
Pinnacle PCTV (pci)
Windows XP w/ SP1

OK this is my second try with a tv tuner card (the first was a voodoo tv 200). Same kind of problem with both cards.

I have installed the newest drivers (version 5.10) When I run the Pinnacle assistant to test the system, my comp locks up when it test the overlay test.

I tried Dscaler and it locks the computer up as well, Same with Power VCR II.

Anyone have any ideas. I guess it has something to to with the overlay controls since it can pass the other test but I am at a loss.
