Need some help here?
Just bought a used 99 Mits Galant with 23k miles.
I know there is a 3 years/36k mile bumper to bumper and a 5 years/60k mile power train

My questions

1. Is the car still under warranty? I am unsure whether it¡¦s under warranty or not because there is 2003 models out already.
2. How can I check to see if there was any recalls or TSB for this car??
3. If there is TSB and recalls, do I just walk into a MITS dealer and they will fix it free? Do I get a rental?

Anyone with any past experience or comment??
Thanks!

TSBs are usually just things that are common problems and they will provide a better solution to fixing the problem rather then just replacing a part at making things like they were before. A TSB does not warrant any sort of repair unless the symptoms are present. You will still need to pay though if your car isn't under warranty. Recalls will be fixed free regardless of warranty state. To check whether your car is still under warranty contact your local Mitsu dealer.
