My system:
Windows 2000sp1 Server
Epox 8KTA3 (KT133A board)
T-bird 1ghz
512mb PC133 Cas 2 Crucial ram
Radeon 64 DDR Vivo
Allied Telsyn PCI NIC
Plextor 12/10/32A IDE CDR
Toshiba 2x DVD M1102

I can not get the DVD to play any DVDs at all. I get a "drive not accessible incorrect function" error when I try to play a DVD, however, regular CDs play fine in the drive. What should I do? The Drive was used in a Win98 machine previously and worked great.

I have the DVD software installed that was bundled with the Radeon Video card. It's called ATI DVD 7.0

the ATI radeon software doesnt reallywork very well in win2k. I suggest you get windvd, as it works great and still supports the radeon's hardware dvd

W2K and the ATI Radeon DVD player locked up my system, but it did recognize the DVD player and would play DVDs for a short while (with Toshiba DVD).
